ABOUT FUNSHINE
Funshine was founded in 2017 in Cedar City, Utah. After providing a top quality in-home program for almost five years, we expanded to a brand new center in May 2023. We are a structured, play-based nature program, which means we believe in the power of play and the magic of nature to help children thrive and grow!
Daily activities are designed to adequately nurture the emotional and intellectual growth of the children in our care. When they are with us, the children are free and able to develop into bright young minds. Our program owner has over 20 years of experience in childcare and early childhood education to help ensure the proper setup for optimal growth and development. We offer a diverse and well rounded program for every age and stage of life! Our outdoor classroom is optimal for nature based learning, from our mud kitchen and balance beams, to our tree stump walkabout and water wall, your child will find so many ways to expand and fine tune their learning!

At Funshine Child Care & Learning Center, it is our mission to provide educational opportunities that encourage hands-on learning, innovative intellect, and exploration through reliable, trustworthy childcare services that meet the needs of the families and community we serve.
​​From language and literacy to math concepts, social skills, creative expression, and sensory development, the children at Funshine Child Care & Learning Center are continually being exposed to new activities and environments in which to grow and thrive. We build on the strengths and interests of each child to help create a solid foundation where they can develop their futures through their own unique learning style. Daily sensory activities and learning centers combined with our weekly hands-on curriculum layout for our preschool program, creates the perfect balance for true interactive learning. Our weekly themes include things like life cycles, insects, animal habitats, bees & pollinators, the five senses and so much more!
